Planbase - 3dRepo

PlanBase is an open source 3D planning portal where residents and planners can collaborate on planning proposals. The software allows city planners to showcase their designs and gather feedback from stakeholders. The application is built using Vue.js and incorporates 3dRepo which is a BIM (Building Information Management) SAAS product which allows the rendering of large 3D models inside the browser. The Vue application is responsible for all of the UI and UX outside of the 3D model and guides the user through a series of questions whilst controlling the model using the 3DRepo API. The application won AR/VR project of the year at The Construction Computing Awards in November 2020.
